Valentia Clear Lift Revitalizing Serum

The good ole people at Valentia sent me this wonderful product to review for you wonderful people.
It is the Valentia Clear Lift Revitalizing Serum.

It's claims are to:
Renew texture and tone
Deeply moisturize
Minimize fine lines
Increase elasticity
Brown and correct
It's key ingredients are:
Wakame bioferment (seaweed)- increases skin oxygen consumption
Gotu kola-lessens scars and increases firmness
Lactic acid-increases cell turnover
Licorice-lightens pigmentation
Argan oil-protects skins resiliency and elasticity

I've been using this product for about 4 days, twice a day and have notice a difference in the texture and clarity of my skin.
My skin feels softer, looks smoother, and DEFINITELY looks brighter. The clarity of my skin overall has improved. I just have this natural glow.
I applied two pumps two times a day after cleansing. It is off white in color and had an orange cream scent almost. It definitely is a citrus scent. Not overbearing at all.

Mini ULTA & Sephora Haul ( Again -_- )

I've been a baaaaad baaaad girl.... not really, I could be an axe murderer. Look ma! Makeup! I've been on the hunt for some new foundations lately. I've always heard great reviews about NARS Sheer Glow foundation, so I decided to give it a go. Of course while on that hunt I decided to purchase what others may call a waste. It's no waste, when it's on my face boo * insert eye roll here* .So yeah here are a list of list of gooodayyyyzzz that I bought!

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation: This foundation is far from sheer. It's not see through, but it's not thick either. It's medium to definite full coverage. It's described as a beneficial to the skin foundation as it helps improve the skins texture over time. The texture to me is very satin like on the skin. To me, it gives a "plumpened, hydrated, dewy/not so dewy" look. Confused? Don't be, It's awesome, buy it.

KORRES Wild Rose Vitamin C Active Brightening Oil: I received this as a deluxe sample with my order. I think the packaging is extremely gorgeous and elegant. My only not so happy point with this product is the smell. It smells of a very synthetic rose. I wouldn't have a problem if it were a light scent, but the scent is not only strong, it lingers on your face for quite a while. Aside from that , I do feel like its brightening properties are valid. My complexion does look brighter and feels softer.

NYX Pro Foundation Mixer in Deep: I had gotten this in the color warm, and I figured for the warmer months when I do tan up, I don't wanna look orange, but I want to have dimension in my foundation. I feel like you can't really pull off a foundation mixer in a foundation with just one mixer. With just one mixer, foundation may lose it's vibrancy and has the potential to look "flat". So I bought the two to use together in order to deepen and enrich.

Smashbox Insta-Matte Lipstick Transformer: Bruh?! Where have you been all my life?! I really thought this was the most gimmicky thing and that I would never need this...until I received it as a sample. Ohmaigerrrrdd. Bruh, Ok, So the consistency is that EXACTLY like the smashbox photofinish primer. EXACTLY. The ingredients are similar, just lacking a few things. Once I finished my sample, I figured, pffft, I'm just gonna use my primer on my lips. It went 100 to 0, real quick. It was NOT the same. Crazy right? The insta-matte transforms your cream and satin lipsticks into a comfortable, satiny, mattey goodness on your lips. I honestly would recommend putting this on top of your already matte lipsticks just to make them more comfortable throughout the day. It locks in moisture while maintaining that matte finish. Please, don't make me talk too much, you need this in your life. Buy it. The end.

NYX Dewy Finish Setting Spray: I never thought I'd try this out because of the fact that it contained the word "dew". Something my face produces naturally aka oil. But one day, I dunno, God sent an angel to speak to me, and ....I listened, and the finish is really not that bad! It's a dew, but its really a "glow" plus it kept my makeup fresh throughout the day. Try it, you'll like it...well, maybe not the nozzle, but you'll like it.

Urban Decay Shadow Box:  Truth be told, I wouldn't have bought this palette if it weren't on sale. I own dozens of Urban Decay palettes. I admit it, I'm obsessed. And this palette doesn't disappoint....well some colors do, but uh, we'll get to that. Every color maintains it's pigmentation except for THE ONE I LOVED OUTTA THIS WHOLE PALETTE! Freelove, your love is not free I paid for you, and you still sucked. LIAR....I still love you. XOXO

NYX Foundation Mixers in Luminous & Warmth + Soft Matte Lip Cream

Hola again! Just wanted to post some swatches for you. I've done some lip swatches on the lip creams in previous posts, so I'll just move onto the mixers.

I bought luminous and warmth. My main problems in finding a foundation is it being to ashy, as I'm a bit yellow in undertone. Warmth should work extremely well for me during the summer as my tan turns golden red.

The consistency of them is fairly thick, but not so thick that it would need dilution. They're also pigmented, so a little goes a long way.

I haven't noticed them changing the finish of the foundation. But that could vary from foundation to foundation dependent on the foundation base.

I'd say get these, as they're affordable and in my book a necessity for foundation wearers. Very rarely does one find a foundation to match perfectly. These little things help you to achieve that prefect tone you need.

Coastal Scents Revealed 3 Palette

Guess what I got in the mailllll!?! Tadaaa! This honestly was a spur of the moment purchase. I received an e-mail for$5 off any revealed palette and I got suckered into it. The shadows in this palette are inconsistent. Some are EXTREMELY pigmented and some can barely swatch. You'll most definitely need a primer with these shadows. Nonetheless, they're beautiful! You've got a little neutral, some plums, some smoke, and some pop!  The swatches on my arm are without primer.
They also sent a free goodie with the purchase. A mini eyeshadow quad, and the colors are perfect for spring and summer. I'll be rocking those colors on these eyelids really soon.
The price is roughly about $22. I say for the amount you receive, it's definitely a good deal as most of the colors do perform well.
If you have this palette, how do you like it? What color combos do you do? Planning on getting it?

Sephora Haul!

Hey gwerrrl! Haha! I have a haulage for you! *points finger at you*

So I had been eyeing a few things at Sephora for a while and well, of course the end result is that I ended up buying them. Duh.

So here's a list of what I bought

Boscia charcoal pore pudding: I have an affinity with anything charcoal. Charcoal masks, charcoal cleansers. All of it. So when this came on the market, I had to have it. I wanted to compare it to my Origins charcoal mask, but this is different. My origins charcoal mask creates a tingly feeling, while this doesn't. That doesn't take away from the fact that this a great product. It left my skin smooth, my pores less visible, and my skin was definitely less oily. The next day I was searching for the oil on my face with a blotting tissue, but to no avail, I couldn't find any. A little goes a long way with this stuff.

Black Up full coverage cream foundation in HC05: I was given a sample of this at Sephora. I didn't even ask for it, but boy am I glad she gave it because I'm hooked! The coverage is immaculate. I love full coverage foundations because I'm able to "dumb it down". I can use it full force, I can mix some moisturizer or luminizer and make it medium coverage, or I can put even more moisturizer to make it a tinted moisturizer. Full coverage foundations are ALWAYS a 3 in 1 to me.It creates a smooth even canvas. Doesn't set too quickly, doesn't settle into dry areas. It covers imperfections, and is buildable, although full coverage, without looking cakey. I used this with my beauty blender and it gave a flawless finish. (Picture with the munchkin below)

Cinema Secrets makeup brush cleaner pro starter kit: I'm no longer going to use another brush cleaner again! Quick, easy, fast drying! Plus, it leaves your brushes smelling like vanilla once fully dried (which is really like,3 seconds)

Free deluxe sample set by Bobbi Brown: haven't used the kit yet, but free is always good :)

Clinique take the day off cleansing balm: This is seriously having me change my mind to making the switch to cleansing balms. It removed all of my makeup without a hassle in a snap. No raccoon eyes, nuffin.

I also purchased some NYX Face and body glitter, as well as some Andrea lashes. I did a look with the glitter and it just made my heart flutter, but sadly I forgot to take pictures. I'm horrible at that, ha!

XoXo thanks for stopping by!

ELF Haul

I've been on a roll with these hauls. I need to stop! But, I kinda don't want to. Hmmm. Any who! I ordered some stuff from ELF and although I'm missing two items ( because they messed up my order :/ ) the products are great quality for what you pay for.

So far I'm really loving the bronzer palette ( each color is interchangeable), I looooove the face massager (ahhhh) , and I'm super excited to try out the cleaning gel (I'm obsessed with oil/gel cleansers).

Now those HD blushes, OMG, can we say pig-men-teeeeddddd honey. Yassss. I don't know what the wear time would be for these, but the lawd Jeheesus is my savior, these things are pigmented. I'd imagine a long wear. Seems like a great dupe for the the MUFE HD blushes.

Some of the items were free with a $25 purchase, such as the translucent powder, the lip balm, retractable brush, cream pot eyeshadow, and liner (which is surprisingly pigmented and smooth)

I'm gonna go play with my goodies now!

Morphe 35W LOTD

The colors used are white dotted below. The color I used for the center of my lid (bottom left corner) was UBER pigmented like, whoa. I wish all of them were like that, ha ha!
I did add a little NYX glitter liner to the center of my lid for some "pop".
But yeah, overall I enjoyed this look.
Top left: 1st transition color
Top right: second transition color/blending shade
Bottom right: inner and outer corner
Bottom left: center lid
I also added a tiny bit of black to the inner and outer corner as well to intensify the look.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Moscow

Don't mind my hair. It's done, the camera just wanted to play games that day. :p

As I already own KVD's everlasting liquid lipstick in echo, I wanted to give this a try to see if it would be a cheaper alternative. I won't go into detail about texture because it's the same moosey texture all the lip creams have.

I will say that it took a couple of layers to achieve this lip. And as it wears off,I don't know if it's the pigment in my lips but the color changes, and I honestly can't describe it. It's not horrible to retouch but KVD echo doesn't do that, it just...wears off lol and leaves that nasty ring around your lips, but whatever lol.

I'll get around to comparing swatches of the two. Until then, I hope you enjoy this look!

Bronner Brothers February 2016 Haul

Per the norm, I usually attend the Bronner Brothers show at least once a year every year. Every other year I stock up on the flat irons and blow dryers, because of course,I can't live without them. I always have a set for me and then another set for my clients, plus a backup. Always.

I noticed Morphe brushes and Crown Brush making a presence in the last two years. So, of course I stopped at their booths. I purchased the 35w palette, and the contour palette. On their website, each palette retails for about 20 bucks (on sale). At the hair show each palette was $15, plus I also purchased (not pictured) a contour crease brush and a fluffy powder brush that I'll most likely use to blend my powder contours into the hollows of my cheeks.

I've kinda stemmed away from Mizani True Textures, and went full force with DēvaCurl (totes loooovvves). Now I'm a Dēva girl. But this deal at the booth was too great to pass up ($45). The fact that they've reformulated the formula coupled with the deal price is what lead to my purchase. I felt the original formula left me with occasional flakes, and since my hair is fine,I felt the product left my hair weighed down. I'm willing to give them another shot. But if I don't like it,I won't be repurchasing. The set does come with shampoo, 3 conditioners, and 4 styling products.

That's really all! I did end up using the morphe palette today, and so far so good. I wouldn't say it's the best palette, but what you get for the money is a steal. The shadows were inconsistent as some were AMAZING, and some were, blah. But nonetheless, you can't go wrong.

Did anybody go to the BB Show? Anyone planning on going?

The lip I'm sporting below is NYX Lip Lingerie In bedtime flirt with NYX lip liner in cappuccino. Eyeshadow is Morphe 35w.
