NYX Foundation Mixers in Luminous & Warmth + Soft Matte Lip Cream
Hola again! Just wanted to post some swatches for you. I've done some lip swatches on the lip creams in previous posts, so I'll just move onto the mixers.
I bought luminous and warmth. My main problems in finding a foundation is it being to ashy, as I'm a bit yellow in undertone. Warmth should work extremely well for me during the summer as my tan turns golden red.
The consistency of them is fairly thick, but not so thick that it would need dilution. They're also pigmented, so a little goes a long way.
I haven't noticed them changing the finish of the foundation. But that could vary from foundation to foundation dependent on the foundation base.
I'd say get these, as they're affordable and in my book a necessity for foundation wearers. Very rarely does one find a foundation to match perfectly. These little things help you to achieve that prefect tone you need.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Moscow
Don't mind my hair. It's done, the camera just wanted to play games that day. :p
As I already own KVD's everlasting liquid lipstick in echo, I wanted to give this a try to see if it would be a cheaper alternative. I won't go into detail about texture because it's the same moosey texture all the lip creams have.
I will say that it took a couple of layers to achieve this lip. And as it wears off,I don't know if it's the pigment in my lips but the color changes, and I honestly can't describe it. It's not horrible to retouch but KVD echo doesn't do that, it just...wears off lol and leaves that nasty ring around your lips, but whatever lol.
I'll get around to comparing swatches of the two. Until then, I hope you enjoy this look!

NYX Lip Lingerie in Bedtime Flirt
I was regretting that I didn't purchase bedtime flirt when I purchased my first order of the lip lingeries. Then I realized they were sold out when I placed my first order, so I didn't feel so bad and guilty after. I needed to order more lip liners anyway. Before I fully checked out,I was like, let's see if she's back in stock, and voila! Bam baby. So I bought it and omg. I love it. Yoooo, like, omg. I feel complete. I just, it's indescribable. *tear*. I just wanna thank God...But really. This is the perfect nude pinky shade for ANY skin tone. I did pair it with NYX cappuccino lip liner btw. But, yeah, must have for the price. Like, for real lol.

NYX Lip Lingerie in Beauty Mark & Ombre blush in Nude to Me
Oh hey there! I'm just, ya know, serving face per usual. Today, (I think this was yesterday really) I'm rocking the newest craze of the year, NYX Lip Lingerie liquid lipstick in Beauty Mark. It's VERY close in resemblance to teddy. Trust me, you don't need both, just get one or the other.
On my cheeks I'm rocking the NYX ombre blush in Nude to me. And voila! This combo is very flattering on my nc45 skin.

NYX Liquid Lingerie & Ombre Blushes
NYX has been on the come up for some time now. I remember when they were nobodies with cheap packaging, and now they just sell out like Twinkies on the fourth of July.
These liquid lipsticks are so far so good. Being as though I haven't worn them for more than.....5 seconds to swatch these photos, I can't currently give a review on wear time as of yet. Stay tuned though.
I bought the liquid lingerie lipsticks in teddy, beauty mark, exotic, and embellishment. They dry down to a nice moisturizing matte finish. I did notice that the colors tend to deepen once completely dried. They do have a weird taste though...whatever.
So far,I can't complain! I love the color selection and that anyone of any skin color can obtain a skin suiting nude. My faves are exotic and beauty mark. Exotic is the EXACT same color as my natural lips, something I've never been able to find. And beauty mark is a nice warm brown, while teddy is a cooler muted brown. Embellishment is a cool muted lilac, while exotic is an almost mauve-y neutral red/pink These are definitely a grab for the bargain. They retail for $7. Get it! Cuz I said so.
Now onto these blushes! Haven't tried em. Lol, but they're gorgeous. NYX has wow'd me with their packaging. From the bag to the box, just perfect. I tried to pick up the most "black skin"friendly colors. I think I did very well. The texture is creamy and you can mix the colors, or wear them separately. Some of the lighter colors make for a great highlighter. The sell for $10, I'd definitely say get it. Why not?

Mini Ulta Haul
So I must admit that I'm a little addicted to Benefit's new Roller Lash mascara. You remember mortal combat? And when you're about to beat down your opponent and that voice yells, "Come herrrreeeee!" Yeah, thats what this brush does to my lashes, I swear. It grabs every lash, almost forcefully, but in a good way. Im already a big fan of Benefit's They're Real, but this just miiight become my new fave.
Furthermore, I went along to get some brand new goodies I've never tried, and restock a couple of my other favorites. My restock items are the NYX Mineral Matte Finishing Powder, and the NYX Wonder Pencil. I love the NYX mineral powder to set my foundation. Its VERY finely milled, applies evenly, and leaves no pasty caste that most mineral setting powders leave. I use the color medium dark, (I think). Then my next restock is the wonder pencil. I love this pencil because its very multi purpose. You can use it to highlight your brows, or highlight other smaller areas of the face such as your cupid's bow, etc.
Some new things I picked up were the NYX Satin Finish Black Liner and the NYX Matte Liquid Liner, along with NYX A Push Up Bra For Your Eyebrows, and NYX highlight and contour WonderStick. The satin liner applies wonderfully to the lash line. Gives a slight sheen and doesn't tug or pull. It does not work too well on your waterline though :/. It just doesn't stick or apply evenly. The Push up bra is what it says it is, hahaha. I dont think I'll get much use from the brow pencil side, unless I'm in a huge hurry. The pink higlighter blends wonderfully. It's not chalky or pasty looking. Lastly, the Wonderstick. I love....one side of it, hahaha. I love the darker contour. Its blendable and not too dark, light, red, beige. It's a perfect warm brown for my skintone.As for the highlight, there isn't anything wrong with it per say. I was just expecting it to be less sheer. I felt I had to layer it in order the get the result I wanted. Nothing wrong with it, just more work.
Planning on getting any of these? Let me know how they work out for you, as I just might be crazy and not know what I'm talking about. :P

NYX Rouge Cream Blush
NYX Rouge cream blush is a perfect alternative to any prestige cosmetic cream blush. My moto is to find any and all dupes in NYX. I don't use MAC lip pencils unless it's exclusive to MAC and can't be found elsehwere. Face powders, lipstick,you name it! NYX is my go to drugstore brand. These blushes are very creamy and EXTREMELY PIGMENTED. The red pink color is called red cheeks and the soft orange color is called, welp, orange. They apply easily and aren't sticky or tacky. They would be used great as a base for a powder blush as well. The orange color is very well suited on women of color. Being that I love bright colors the red cheeks color is perfect for me! I must warn that it is so easy to over kill this color. It's that serious! I haven't tried these bushes on for a full day, so I can't comment on staying power. From the looks of it, I'm pretty hopeful it will go above and beyond for what is worth.

NYX 40% off at ULTA Haul
Did some major damage this weekend with some major haulage. I received plenty of goodies in the mail, and I just could not stop myself. I heard ULTA was having a 40% off sale on all NYX, Revlon, Almay & Physicians Formula. Take a look at what I got. I also got Tarina Tarantino cheek palette from Sephora, NARS Foreplay Cheek Palette and Fresh Lip Sugars for my burrffday in August. NYX Pure Red Matte Lip Color
Picked this color up a while ago. I must say I'm impressed and sorta kinda in love with the matte lipstick line. They have super duper pigmentation, and a pretty good selection of colors as well. The color I have on below is in Pure Red. I'm always on the hunt for the prefect red lip color, as picking the wrong shade of red for your complexion can cause you to look really clownish. This one on the other hands suits me well. This red is a really bright red orange. I'm sporting it with NYX Hot Red lip liner. It would suit warm under toned people really well. So do you like?
