Kat Von D Lock It Tattoo Foundation = My HG Foundation

OMG.... That is really all I have to say about this foundation. It's THAT good. If you are not into full coverage, than I would not suggest this foundation for you. This foundation is described to have 21% pigment. One pump of the stuff is enough to cover entire face and then some. You can even mix this in with some of your moisturizer to thin it out. When thinned out with moisturizer, it becomes no different than a normal medium coverage foundation. In that case, you can save a lot of money as this product should last you a lifetime if you choose to do the moisturizer mix method. I will definitely be stocking up on this product, I'm afraid it may discontinue and come out with something new ( I hate when companies do that). The color selection is a pretty good. It's not hard trying to find a shade to match your skin with this line. I'm an NC44-45 in MAC and shade 66 and this KVD foundation matched me just fine. I must warn though, that this foundation is really thick, and if it's not applied correctly with the proper tools, you will end up with a hot thick mess on your face, not cute. I wouldn't suggest applying with a skunk/duo fiber brush. Go for a kabuki type style brush, as it will sheer this product out to perfection. I have been wearing this for about 1 month now, no break outs, and no irritation. I have sensitive and oily skin so if it did not bother me, I'm pretty sure you will be fine. The finish dries to a nice satin matte finish, is transfer resistant, and will last all day, if not longer, even without a setting spray.

Tarte's Fantastic Foursome Amazonian clay 12-hour blush enthusiast set

From left to right: Stellar, Angelic, Magic, Fantastic
From top to bottom: Stellar, Angelic, Magic, Fantastic
Picked this up on Sephora.com. I was lucky to have seen this, because I have ADD and I bypass so many things unless it TRULY catches my eye. I kind of "scan" things with my eyes when I shop, because I don't have the patience to sift through EVERYTHING. I do this regardless if I'm shopping online or in-store. I do love shopping though, don't get me wrong. I'm addicted to blushes, especially Tarte blushes. This set comes with 3 blushes and one highlighter ( they call the highlighter a blush, but it's a damn highlighter, I hate when companies do that). Boy are these babies pigmented. You are getting a really good deal, as one full sized blush runs you about $25. Although these blushes are not full size (about half the size of the full size, Full is .20 oz half is .10 oz) you are definitely getting your monies worth. Not only that, but these babies should last you a pretty long time. I have them swatched below on my NC45 skintone. I'm deeply in love with stellar, fantastic, and angelic. You might as well say I'm deeply in love with them all! Fantastic is nice, but it's an all to common color for me. That highlighter though is the BIZZZZZZNASSS. I love it, love it, love it! It will go well with many skin tone and gives your skin a more than gorgeous glow. Be careful, an dip your brush lightly or you will look like a shimmery mess, I remind you again, these blushes are pigmented. Definitely go cop this set for you and a friend for Christmas, because it is the shiznit, and you will not be disappointed. I totes love it! Rawr! Yes.... I am a Leo if you were wondering...

NARS Foreplay Cheek Palette

First off, if you already have NARS' Orgasm  just skip buying this palette. I just wanted to put that out there :-). So anywhoo  I have never owned NARS Orgasm blush. I own a couple of others and their highlighters, but I never really fall into the hype of certain things. I get it when I feel like it. I felt like getting this palette as I missed out on last years most prized possession, the Danmari palette ( I deeply regret not getting it, it's like, $5000.00 on eBay). I do love this palette though. The shades are really pigmented (a staple trait with NARS blushes). I guess I shyed away from this platte because I though I had something similar, and plus I heard complaints from WOC that it would not show up on their skin tone no matter how hard they tried. I must admit  the shade did show upon me very well, and it gawjuss! It's very natural looking if you don't overdo it. It does have a slight shimmer, but with a light hand and slowly building coverage, you can get a really nice natural look. Then there are the coral shade and the bright pink, plus a highlighter that you can use to create your own "orgasm" shade. Don't want too much shimmer? Want no shimmer at all? Well It's up to you to use this palette to your liking. The palette runs for $49 at Sephora.

MAC Pro Sculpting Cream Richly Honed

I'm in a way new to contouring. I mean I do the basic cheekbone contour, and cheekbone highlight. What I was using was great...for an hour, then it completely disappeared. I used Iman's blush in Sable, but the lasting power on that was weak. This Pro Sculpting Cream is a part of MAC Face and Body collection. There are 6 shades and this one is the darkest. I have not tried the others, but I have heard that all the colors are warm toned. That being said this is a GREAT product if it matches your undertone/skin color. It's a cream that dries to a powdery finish. Try it out, if it matches, I bet you will like it.

NYX 40% off at ULTA Haul

Did some major damage this weekend with some major haulage. I received plenty of goodies in the mail, and I just could not stop myself. I heard ULTA was having a 40% off sale on all NYX, Revlon, Almay & Physicians Formula. Take a look at what I got. I also got Tarina Tarantino cheek palette from Sephora, NARS Foreplay Cheek Palette and Fresh Lip Sugars for my burrffday in August. (the cashier associate was so nice, she let me redeem my gift even though I was way overdue).I will be posting swatches and reviews soon after. xoxoxo~Mwah~xoxoxo

Urban Decay Vice Palette 20 Brand SPANKIN' New Shades

I must say, UD did very well with this one. I love Urban Decay, because they actually listen to their consumers. They soak in all the feedback received, and try to add to, or take away from products to satisfy you. I remember with the first Naked palette many people complained that they didn't quite agree with the packaging, so UD changed the packaging of the UD Naked2 to the consumers' advice and preferences. I absolutely love the packaging on the Vice Palette. The shadows come in a hard rubberized case (kind of like NARS packaging). It has a push button to open. Comes with a full sized mirror (I'ts pretty huge). Some of the colors are similar to other UD eye shadows that  they currently have. But nothing is EXACTLY the same. I'm an UD collector, so whatever palette they have out that is not a BOS, I'm pretty sure I have it. I don't really buy into the book of shadows because I feel like they are all re promotes, and I probably can make 3 full BOS' with all of my palettes together. The only color I was "sorta" disappointed with was Freebird. I had to swipe my finger over the shadow quite a few times just to get a good swatch on my arm. But hey, UD does that sometimes, no biggy.

MAC Yung Rapunxel Amplified Lipstick

I finally got this in the mail today! I had purchased it online, and within minutes of my purchase it was sold out. Not only was it sold out, but my purchase was placed on back order. It was definitely a WTF!?!? moment. I went ahead and gave them a call to see when they would receive the new stock and they told me no more than 2 weeks. Thanks God it didn't take an extra 2 weeks from ordering, but the timing was, meh, O.K. this lip color is perfect for fall. I wouldn't necessarily say this color is "unique" as I'm sure you can find many a dupe for this color. MAC Cyber seems close enough of a color, so if you already own that, you can skip on this one for sure. In the pic I've got it paired with NYX's Black Berry lip liner. Very vampy, but very nice. This color suits women of color very well. If you are on the paler side, I would suggest diluting this with a lighter colored gloss, and a light hand.

EOTD Color Blocking

This is my hmmm, second(?) attempt at color blocking. I don't really feel I'm quite up there in skills with this one yet. I think I put too much color on the center lid. Who cares, its not permanent, I take it off and try again. :-). On another note, what do you think?

MAC Viva Glam Nicki Minaj Lipglass

Yesterday I did a little haulage. (I Will post the rest later). I picked up this viva glam nicki lipglass. I had been eyeing it for a while, but never really justified the purchase because I thought I had something similar. I do have the viva glam nicki lipstick. Together they do make a wonderful pair. I would say this is less yellow toned than the lipstick is, but it's still very pretty. I love the pigmentation MAC liglasses provide. People may not like the stickiness/tackiness of MAC lipglasses, but I feel that the tackiness is what gives the lipglass its lasting power and wonderful pigmentation. It does not bother me, plus they feel moisturizing. The tube retails for $15. If you have not noticed, within the last month MAC lipsticks and lipglasses, have all gone up by 50 cents. Poo. Of course I'm disappointed at the inflation, but you noticed I still bought it right?

MAC's Sheen Supreme in New Temptation

Just recently purchased this one today. You can never have too many reds. It's a must have in your makeup collection. Plus, I am always on the search for that perfect red. This is a sheen supreme so the color contains a nice glossy sheen. I had no problems with the pigmentation, as the color applied pretty evenly. It's described as a vivid blue red. It does contain blue undertones and I believe this color is workable on many skin tones. How do you like the way it looks on me?

MAC's Sheen Supreme Tea Ceremony

This color is my usual go to neutral lip. Its a low key neutral beige pink, that will work well with most skin tones, especially with woman of color. The color is not too pale, so it wont wash you out, nor will you need a liner to "tone" it down because it can be worn alone. No gloss, no nothing. It's a sheen supreme lipstick, so it goes on pretty smooth and has a glossy finish. It's very creamy. I wouldn't call it "moisturizing" though. It does not leave my lips dry, yet it does not have my lips feeling completely moisturized. It could just be me, because I'm picky like that. Today I have it paired with my fave liner Iman's Espresso. Voici!

CoverGirl LipPerfection Lipcolor in Embrace

I had an impulse buy at wally word the other day.I decided to go for this color, as I thought it would be a great dupe for my long lost love Urban Decay's Jilted. They fall fairly close, but this one here leans a little more violet. I've paired it here with Iman's Lip pencil in espresso, and topped it off with Stila's lip glaze in raisin.
